You are at the heart of our story and we have left a space for you to interact with our film and venture into Stronheim's strange world. Tomorrow is the very first STRANGE FACTORIES - Secrets, Dreams & Storytelling Tweetathon.
We start at 6pm Friday 24th of June.
The core members of the 'Strange Factories' Film Fantastique, will be hosting the tweetathon. The times below are when you'll find the conduits at the control box, tuning us to the strange frequencies, filled with the secrets and dreams from our lives that only ghosts are privy.
Be warned we cannot take responsibility for parafictive phenomena you encounter while connected to our current. Localised spectral manifestations may occur for 48 hours starting at 6 o'clock British Summer Time (GMT+1).
John Harrigan - Cartographer of the anomalous. Has built many imaginary machines. On first name basis with all the cats that live in his village.
Lucy Harrigan - Producer, performer, editor & control freak. Escaped from conventional reality to the FP Cirxus. Many characters live inside me.
Tereza Kamenicka - Was born on the haunted hour - dreams more real that reality itself - finding reason within insanity - smile on the lips - secret in the heart.
Bettina Fung Wan Shan - Possessor of the humanoid camera, capturing images of the sensed and imagined with help from ink and water.
Claire Tregellas - I've got webbed feet, I remember being six months old, I saw a white fox recently and I know a woman who was turned into a rabbit.
Rachael Blyth - I'm descended from the last gypsy king of Scotland. In the past my ancestors burned at the stake. I always consider myself blessed to be haunted rather than hunted.
Richard Webb - Artist and conjuror of objects and experiences. Current likes: expanded polystyrene, lead, LED, perspex, iron, aluminium and gunpowder.
P. Emerson Williams - Infected the system for your souls, is in control of your dreams and saved art by using his greedy maw for a canned laugh-track.

Stronheim launches our groundbreaking new 'Strange Factories' Dreamer & Storyteller competition.
Roll up! Roll up! Roll up!
Stronheim, inspired by the signals recieved to FoolishPeople's immersive film fantastique 'Strange Factories' has challenged you to share the strange fragments of your own stories and dreams.
To enter Stronheim's Tombola make a minimum contribution for 60p - $1 at the village fete, (which you can access on our IndieGoGo page) and send your story and dream fragments to us via e-mail to switchboard (at) strangefactories.com. Your dreams and story fragments will be entered into a competition to win a weekend away for you and a guest at Stronheim's mansion in the beautiful Czech countryside. This is the actual haunted location, where Stronheim's Strange Factories, infamous for the frequencies of sound they emit are hidden deep in the local countryside.
Dreams and story fragments can be up to 560 characters, the size of four tweets. These dreams and stories will also form part of an installation at the phatasmagoric 'Strange Factories' tour, where your name will be recorded in the village register.
The winning dreamer and storyteller will be announced live at the finale of the second 'Strange Factories' 48-hour Tweetathons that will take place from 6pm to 6pm on the 24th - 26th of June and 6pm to 6pm on the 15th - 17th of July.
During the 'Strange Factories' Tweetathon, members of FoolishPeople will be sharing their own strange dreams live along with stories from FoolishPeople's colourful history along with a selection of the dreams and stories you have sent to us.

Strange Factories is very much a Film Fantastique.
Film Fantastique is the most wonderful french term for a genre of cinema and literature that overlaps with science fiction, fantasy and horror.

Athalia the ballerina waits in the ring for Loudon the clown to return with directions to the Black Pool, the mythic site of the Home Sweet Home, the final show of the season. Join her as she begins a bizarre and wondrous search for Loudon through the irradiated secrets of Cirxus, where she must face the macabre atomic menagerie, haunted by circus animals and navigate her way through the maze of strange, hallucinogenic sideshows to the other side of time.
Cirxus defies genre and form and offers a literary experience like no other. A combination of hallucinogenic novel and blueprint to a physical experience.
