In all honesty, the period of fundraising has been a journey it itself- all encompassing, consuming, frustrating, rewarding, draining, enlivening.
The entire core creative team has been living inside the project, spending every minute of our waking day (and most of our sleeping hours) working on it, thinking about it, obsessing. We have become crazed. Manic. Sleep Deprived. And I'm sure its only the start of our insomnia as we put every last piece of our energy, passion and commitment into creating a special experience for our audience throughout the entire creative process of the film.
If you have supported us, you are already involved, part of the myth of 'Strange Factories'. If you haven't, there will be more opportunities to immerse yourself in 'Strange Factories', but you will miss half of the journey.
The amount of support from our friends, family, fans and strangers has been overwhelming, and we are proud to be able to create a 100% fan funded film, with you at its heart.
I feel that I have living more than half of my life in the Strange Factory, and my perception of 'self' and 'reality' is diminishing. Fading to black and white. My character Rose is intrinsically linked to my self.
I have never felt closer to my personal story and myth as I do now. I can feel that this time is special, and one of the most important episodes that will become the story of my life.
We want you to join us in this incredible journey, to interact with it, watch it, and live in it when the time comes.
Milestone VIII - $2,500 / £1,535
For reaching the Strange Factory, you will be rewarded with an invitation from Stronheim himself to stay in his house for a weekend break in the beautiful Czech countryside with a guest. You will also be given two tickets to the live event screening the film, a collector's edition of the DVD, invited to the cast and crew wrap party and given an Executive Producer credit.
