The Assignment of Manifestation is complete as we present the Schematic in its entirety at the new Strange Factories website. 

From today you can explore the next phase of this immersive experience at www.strangefactories.com. Here you will find a veritable trove of information relating to the project including cast and crew biographies, exclusive artwork and of course, our very special trailer.

Delving deeper into the narrative you will be able to explore the characters at the heart of Strange Factories and view the official poster by Matt Needle, alongside artwork and designs by Dorothee Olivereau, Sean Christie and Dakota Crane. We are very proud of the website, which was designed and built by artist Richard Webb. 

Very soon we will be announcing the launch of Cycle I of our Radiogram series. For those of you who have already signed up to receive Radiograms you can still access the previous series via the new website. Radiograms contain exclusive content, unique experiences, access to transmedia events and offer further immersion into the world of Strange Factories. Diary Extract I: The Wheelbarrow

Blurring the boundaries between reality and fiction, the Strange Factories team lived for a month on their own film set, entirely cut off from society and often with no means of transport other than an antique wheelbarrow used to trundle equipment through the wilderness, just like the refugee performers within the story.

There comes a point when both your mind and body are either with the flow or against it. Eating, sleeping, shitting, showering...all have ceased to be "activities" and have taken on increasingly utilitarian forms. Exhaustion has embedded itself so deeply in our bones as to render itself redundant. It seems that one's tank has to be dangerously close to empty before it can start working to maximum capacity.

I feel we might have reached this point.

There have been quite a few scrapes, a number of, shall we say, "minor" injuries. Gashed feet, a severed toe, etc. Nothing major, yet. The specifically podiatric nature of such "accidents" at first seemed coincidental but now it's a little more uncanny...the figures mount as the toenails blacken and drop off.

Pots and pans of salted boiling water litter the floor of the kitchen whilst the casualties line up to soak their wounds and fight over the last few centimetres of surgical tape.

Yesterday was a big kit moving day. Kilos and kilos of kit to be shifted a mile or so along the road to our next location. The wheelbarrow, as ever, carried the burden of the weight. I think I got a bit ambitious, what with not feeling pain anymore and that whole sense of my muscles knowing no bounds. Long story short - wheelbarrow piled high with rusty metal tanks resulting in...you guessed it. Foot gash. It's bleeding quite a lot. The hot salty water feels like it does more good than a vat of TCP ever would. The Gravedigger's cherry brandy helps too.

As I mentioned, the whole foot thing is pretty weird. But like The Fairy says, pretty soon none of us will need our feet anyway. We'll all be levitating.
